I fell in love with magazines and gorgeous interiors from a young age. Writing soon became a passion, and as every interiors journalist will tell you, it is an absolute pleasure to be a part of this industry.
Currently, I contribute to Homes & Gardens, Livingetc online, and realhomes.com – the latter of which I am the former deputy editor. I also have words in SAGA's exceptional.com, The Independent Advisor, and the Federation of Master Builders. I cover all interiors, from small space designs to grander spaces. I am never short of outdoor inspiration either, and often call on my green thumb for a little plant talk.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in English language and Italian from The University of Manchester. It was during my year abroad studying linguistics and history of art in Bologna, Italy that I started documenting my adventures and observations in a blog. Post university I gained more hands-on experience writing for websites, regional magazines, and PR companies. I typically covered fashion, beauty, healthcare, and local events. Some years later, I launched into SEO and copywriting before focusing on more journalistic content.
When I am not writing, you can usually find me painting, taking photos of cranes and skyscrapers, gallery hopping in London, or (hopefully) exploring somewhere further afield.
